Stop the Stupid Stuff ‘In Your Business

We live in a world of change. Shift happens! Competition comes from all over the world, which means that many American companies are in difficulty.
Many are making decisions that conflict with good business and good sense to build customer loyalty.
Most of the organizations’ marketing is usually an exercise in calculating what should be done to get the current or potential customers to spend more dollars with them.
I said that instead of thinking about what to do, find out what to stop doing. In other words, stop doing “stupid things.”
Does not do anything stupid to know what find means to prevent customers from spending money with you and ensure that the action or reaction that never happens again.
Here is an example of what I call “stupid stuff.” Some airlines now want to charge customers who want to speak directly to the agency.
That’s stupid stuff in two ways. First, they have chosen to penalize customers who want to continue to get what they’ve always gotten - on the one-one attention.
Worse, they had finished he said they would be charged more for this level of the previous standard. How many customers they will lose because of this decision? I know at least one.
There are more subtle but no less harmful, it must be stupid to stop doing business.
Take, for example, a new Wheaties box. General Mills recently introduced Wheaties box with images of U.S. Olympic gold medalists. One was lost: Paul Hamm. Why?
